Another example would be an aquarium that was made to the customers specific needs. If you are a merchant who has made a bespoke product and you wish to drive traffic to your site from that product, you can do a couple of things.

1. You can request that the company who purchased your product place a link on their website indicating the product you manufactured for them and how it fit into their needs. They may be unwilling to do this due to the feeling that it might cheapen their website.

2. Another method you could use to advertise your bespoke product is to request that you be able to place an article on their website with pictures of the product indicating how the product enhances the capabilities of the company you created the product for. Within this article, you could place a link to your website. The company may be more willing to do this step since it will also promote their company. Pictures will be shown of their company and the product that was developed.

3. Still another method is to change the process in number 2 above to getting permission from the company to put the article that discusses the product manufactured in a trade magazine or some other publication. This will serve both interests. It will not seem demeaning to the company but will still allow both of you to get advertising of the product in an independent source. The company will have pictures published displaying the product and how it fits at their site and you will have the same. In any method used, you will still be able to take advantage of the efforts made to produce this product and promote your capabilities.
