Southport Sings website
After the awful tragedy that happened in James’s old hometown of Southport, we were wondering what to do to help, as several people we knew were personally affected. We were then, fortuitously, contacted by Jenny Wren, a local teacher, and singer-songwriter, who was organising a charity single, and hopefully a concert in 2025, to support the families of the 3 girls and the other children’s families affected.
She had contacted a few Southport based web design companies, but while all were willing to do it, at a reduced rate, we immediately said we would charge nothing at all for the website, hosting and content creation!!
Working with a friend of Jenny’s who had created a logo, we have created a basic, for the moment, site, that will sell the single online, and then tickets for next year’s concert. Through our music industry contacts we have already got a couple of actis to say they will play!
